I remember 10 years ago my father and grandfather would make fun of me when I was firstly trying to acquintan myself with the pull-up bar. They’d look at me suffer with the Chin-Up and smiling ironically would say “I can’t imagine you doing the Pullover”. Then to my puzzled expression they’d laugh.

Nevertheless though years later it turned out that the Pullover is not such a hard move to obtain. It’s one of the most pleasant moves one can go through on the pull up bar. It’s fun, requires 50% technique, 50% strength and once you get experienced with it you would be able to bust it on any day.

I especially recommend the move to complete beginners, this is where you should start once you are above the 10-15 pull-ups mark. Move onto the Pullover and whilst having fun with it you’ll build up initial strength to move onto the harder elements.
